Bracken Bank Lodge near Penrith in the Lake District is a superb Country House Marquee Wedding Venue.

This beautifully appointed wedding reception venue, in the stunning countryside of the Eden Valley, dates back to the 17th century and has been famous as a shooting lodge for several generations. The house is traditionally furnished with antiques, oil paintings and sporting prints. There is a snooker room, a bar and log fires. The double and single bedrooms all have four-poster beds. The 700-acre estate has lakes, ponds, woods and an abundance of wildlife including deer and red squirrels.

Bracken Bank Lodge is licensed for Civil Weddings and Partnership Ceremonies including outdoor civil ceremonies in the beautiful gardens or in a stone temple on an island on a lake.

This venue offers Church Weddings for couples that live out of the area. There are several beautiful country churches locally to choose from.
