Marlston House is a magnificent country house wedding venue near Newbury in Berkshire.
This listed country house wedding venue is set in sixty acres of beautiful, undulating gardens and parkland.
The house itself is medieval in its appearance.
Wedding receptions take place in the Great Hall. This is a magnificent room with stained glass windows, a high beamed ceiling and chandeliers.
The huge oak staircase sets the scene for dramatic wedding photographs.
The open fires in all the rooms provide a cosy setting for intimate winter wedding receptions but this enchanting wedding venue is equally ideal for summer weddings, with its stunning grounds and lake. The balustrade terrace, overlooking the gardens and lake, is the perfect setting for a champagne reception on a summer's day.
Although grand, this country house wedding venue is cosy and welcoming with sofas for relaxing and a friendly, helpful atmosphere.
Larger weddings may extend the use of the house with a marquee in the grounds.
The house is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnership ceremonies.
