"Just a quick note to congratulate you on a splendid wedding venue and we could not have enjoyed the day more. We looked at many other venues in the County and the large west midlands catchment, and nothing came close. From our experience it was also refreshing not to be given the `hard sell' or unlike other venues, be hit with hidden costs or ridiculously high corkage fees!

Delbury Hall is a beautiful Country House Wedding Venue in Shropshire which is licensed for civil ceremonies.
This delightful wedding reception venue is probably the most beautiful and imposing Georgian mansion in Shropshire and is an extremely friendly and relaxed family home.
The house is surrounded by 80 acres of landscaped parkland and faces south across the water meadows towards Ludlow, 8 miles away. Situated in beautiful Corvedale, between Much Wenlock and Ludlow, the Clee Hills and Wenlock Edge provide a picturesque backdrop.
The gardens are stunning, with ornamental lakes, wonderful herbaceous borders and rose gardens. You and your guests are welcome to wander freely in the grounds of Delbury Hall, where there are wonderful photographic opportunities.
The Coach House has been recently been restored to the highest standards. Traditional materials have been used throughout this lovely barn wedding venue, combined with clean lines and cutting edge design create an exciting ceremony and reception space with superb facilities. Up to 130 guests can be seated for the wedding breakfast or the civil ceremony.
The Mezzanine Floor has a glass balustrade and is reached via a glass and oak staircase. This area is ideal for civil ceremonies of up to 80 guests, or as a quiet area for guests sit and relax. At one end there are French windows leading to a balcony that has stunning views over an historic carp pool with an amazing 30ft floodlit water feature.
For an additional fee of £150, weddings for up to 60 guests may take place in the magnificent entrance hall of Delbury Hall, probably one of the finest rooms in the house. It has a wonderful staircase leading to an upper gallery and makes a superb entrance for the bride.

We researched a number of venues, and Delbury was the best - as well as extremely competitively priced. We received so many comments from our guests on how beautiful the grounds were. A striking aspect of Delbury as a wedding venue was the abundance of attractive areas on site. As well as providing many relaxing environments for our guests to enjoy themselves, it also offered a variety of locations for photographs, without requiring our bridal party to move far from their guests. The mezzanine floor and the courtyard offered us extra areas to use for food service and dancing, which meant that we were able to have our ceremony, photographs, reception and our accommodation all on site, without anything being compromised.
