Gaynes Park - Barn Wedding Venue in Essex

Gaynes Park is a beautiful barn wedding and reception venue in Essex. The Orangery, Gather, Mill Barn and old gardens are set in the grounds of a large private historic country estate near to Epping in Essex. This stunning wedding barn is in the grounds of a country estate yet only 10 minutes from the M25 and M11 at Epping. The barns and Orangery are licensed for civil ceremonies and partnership ceremonies and are approached up a long drive, though wonderful parkland.

The group of listed barns has been imaginatively and artistically restored and offers outstanding facilities for your wedding reception. The scale and setting is impressive, the South Barn being supported by four massive tree trunks. Floor to ceiling windows allow sunlight to flood in. You can treat this wedding barn as a blank canvas as most wedding themes can easily be accommodated.

The wonderful Orangery is available for Civil Ceremonies, Partnership Ceremonies and wedding receptions and the Walled Garden has year-round colour with its herbaceous borders, old-fashioned roses, snowdrops, daffodils and shrubs.

The Gather Barn is open on two sides and allows a truly 'open air' ceremony or can be used for a drinks reception and area for your guests to relax.

"We have just booked this venue and I just want to say that when we went it was still being built, however this is one amazing place. If you're looking for class this is it.

The owner is a very pleasant man who is will do his utmost to help you, and the caterers are pleasant and professional on the phone. The pictures that are currently on here do not really do this venue justice. It has an amazing walled garden which will be fantastic for the pictures and the setting is truly unique. I would seriously recommend that you go and view this venue. There is also a bridal suite called the Apple Tree Loft. It's like a little apartment.

I looked everywhere for a venue for my big day and this came out above all others! Good luck if you are planning your wedding, I know it can be a stressful time but try to enjoy!"

"We too booked this whilst it was still only being renovated. The owner Guy is so lovely and welcomed us in with tea and coffee to warm up as it was a rubbish wet day when we arrived (via motobike!).

He seems to have a strong passion for doing this in just the right way and for what we have seen so far has done it with a splendid simplicity which complements the original buildings rather than going down the chintzy/medieval route some barn conversions have taken. This was the 5th and final venue we saw and it was definitely 'the one'.

The caterers are lovely to deal with and a rare gem in the world of all things wedding. Can't wait for our Winter wedding!"
