Testimonials
| "Mel and I decided a church wedding was not for us and a registry office didn't appeal. The law at the time had just been changed and it was now possible to marry at venues that had been granted a special licence. A book had been purchased from WH Smiths on dream weddings and a short list of venues was created (this included London Zoo, Waddesdon Manor and Monkey Island in Maidenhead). They were all discarded for Herstmonceux Castle in West Sussex. It is a wonderful venue and something very special. All the guests come down a woody drive and they will get an almost magical glimpse of Herstmonceux. At our wedding the guests were ushered over a bridge spanning the moat and into a delightful courtyard garden (good for photos) and on to the room we chose for our ceremony. We had use of the whole castle all day and were made to feel it was our own. The staff were all excellent, right from us looking at the venue to the big day itself. " Mel & Clive |
