They responded well to our requests on the spur of the moment and were a pleasure to deal with. They were particularly helpful with moving the cake where we asked them to. | “When one thinks of their dream wedding, a beautiful setting, wonderful food, and enchanting music are things that often come to mind. Unfortunately, one also thinks of the vast amount of time and the immense effort that go into creating that perfect day. Our day at the Naval and Military Club was perfect not only because of the setting, food, and music, but because working with Chester Boyd made the road getting there smooth and easy. All of the horror stories that we have heard throughout the years about planning a wedding were just that, stories. The reality that we had was two staffs, both with Chester Boyd and with the club, who were the ultimate in professionalism, constant feedback and communication from our personal wedding co-ordinator, and most importantly the feeling that, no matter what, everything would be taken care of on the big day. We never had a worry with them the entire time leading up to the wedding or on the wedding day itself. This was particularly important to us because I am an American and my husband is English. With family and friends travelling from all across the globe, the comfort and security that Chester Boyd and the Naval and Military club gave us in preparing for an international wedding allowed us to rest assured that the long trip that many people took for this wedding would be well worth it. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the experience was working with the Chester Boyd team and with the Naval and Military Club, a setting more beautiful then we could ever have imagined for our wedding. | “From the moment we decided to hold our reception at the Club we cannot fault the service provided by events team, who assisted us every step on the way. On the day your staff were on hand to help take the pressure off us and our guests, under the watchful gaze of the management team. Staff performed their duties with pride and military timing. Our guests commented how well they were looked after. Everybody was very impressed with the high standard of our meal, most commented that it was the best wedding food they had tasted. Some of our guests stayed in the Club on the night and again found the staff helpful and their surroundings comfortable.
