Amid the light heathlands of Suffolk, only 15 minutes' drive from the coast, lies Butley Priory, all which remains of an Augustinian monastery founded in 1171.

Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the Priory is a unique and stunning example of C14 architecture retaining much of the peace and serenity of earlier days.

The Great Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies of up to 90 guests and can seat up to 90 guests for dining. This impressive, vaulted room, overlooking the gardens, has an open log fire for winter wedding receptions.

There is overnight accommodation for up to 6 guests in superb, beautifully furnished, elegant rooms.

The Marquee is located on the Croquet Lawn in front of the house and is suited to wedding receptions of up to 120 guests.
