Davenport House is a splendid Country House Wedding Venue in Shropshire, within easy reach of Wolverhampton, Telford and Bridgnorth.

This lovely wedding reception venue is entirely private and away from roads and traffic and is along a winding road along the valley leading from the village of Worfield. The elegant interior takes visitors back to a time when, for the privileged few, life must have been very agreeable indeed.

But this venue is no time warp. The management style is modern, friendly and un-fussy with a flexible "can-do" approach. Davenport House is ideal all year round for wedding receptions.

Up to 80 guests can be seated in one room for a formal wedding menu and larger numbers for a buffet. Up to 120 guests can be accommodated using two rooms. Larger numbers can be accommodated in a marquee that will adjoin and lead directly from the House.

There are 9 delightful en-suite rooms, each quite different from the other, for overnight accommodation. Prices range from about £100-£140 per room.
