This magnificent 18th century Country House Wedding Venue, set in landscaped gardens beside a lake, is near Wakefield and is easily accessible from all major towns in Yorkshire.
The house was built on the site of a medieval priory in 1733 and boasts an unusual mix of Rococo and classical styles. Later Robert Adam was commissioned to complete the staterooms which are among the finest examples of his interiors. The Priory houses England's best documented collections of Chippendale furniture.
In the grounds are wonderful lakeside walks with a stunning collection of rhododendrons, azaleas and a delightful magnolia avenue in spring. The Priory is set within more than 121 hectares (300 acres) of parkland.
Dining for up to 200 guests takes place in the beautiful Riding School which opens out into the spectacular Rose Garden.
