With far-reaching views of the iconic London skyline and surrounded by rolling countryside, farmland and ancient woodland, Gaynes Park is a picturesque barn wedding venue full of character and contemporary elegance.

Tucked away on a private estate in Epping, Essex, this serene setting feels a world away from the everyday. The venue offers a blend of rustic charm and stylish sophistication, with beautifully restored listed barns, an elegant Orangery, and breathtaking gardens, making it an unforgettable location to say, ‘I do’.

To prepare for the day, the Apple Loft Cottage is a calm and beautifully styled space where you can get ready in comfort and privacy. Once you’re ready, there are three ceremony spaces to choose from. The light-filled Orangery sits within the Walled Garden and features exposed oak beams, large windows, and double doors that open out to the gardens. Couples arrive here via the Long Walk, entering through the romantic Heart Gate before making their way along the central garden aisle, a dramatic and memorable approach. Couples can make the most of the spectacular gardens by holding an outdoor ceremony in a myriad of locations. Exchanging vows with the London cityscape on the horizon or colourful flowers all around you will provide memories that will last a lifetime.

The magnificent Mill Barn, with its centuries-old oak tree trunk supports from the estate woodland and floor-to-ceiling windows, offers a beautiful space for receptions, filled with natural light and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The mezzanine gallery with its comfy seating and soft lighting provides a cosy retreat throughout the celebrations.

The grounds at Gaynes Park are just as impressive as the buildings. The Walled Garden and Long Walk offer bursts of colour in every season, and there are endless opportunities for romantic photographs. From the Pavilion and its twinkling fairy lights to the secluded garden corners and the estate’s iconic photo spot, the ‘London Lookout’. As the sun sets and the evening unfolds, guests can enjoy drinks and dancing in Mill Barn, gather outside under the Gather Barn’s fairy lights, or simply relax and soak up the magic of the day.

Food and drink at Gaynes Park are all about personalisation and quality. The talented on-site team at Venue Catering and Events Limited will work with you to create a menu that’s tailored to your style, whether that’s an elegant sit-down meal, fun sharing boards, street food stalls or an evening barbecue. Fresh, seasonal ingredients take centre stage, and drinks packages are equally flexible, with everything from signature cocktails to curated wine lists and celebratory fizz. Throughout the planning and on the day, the team provides warm, professional service that ensures every detail is taken care of.

After the celebrations, the luxurious Coach House, available separately through Gaynes Park Ltd., offers ten stylish en-suite bedrooms for you and your closest guests. Each room combines elegant French flair with Scandi simplicity, and the communal Lounge and Dining Area is perfect for unwinding with a nightcap or gathering for breakfast the next morning.

Charming, iconic, elegant and entirely yours for the day, Gaynes Park is a place where unforgettable memories are made. Whether you’re planning a grand celebration or something more intimate, this venue offers the space, atmosphere and heartfelt service to bring your wedding vision to life.
