Wedding Venue Advisor

This role is one of customer service and sales but also a support role as it involves covering absent team members work and creating opportunities for our sales business through chatting through our couple’s dreams and expectations.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be someone who can embody our key brand expectations but can also demonstrate:

  • A min of two years experience in a customer service environment.
  • Grade C or above in GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English;

Job Type: Full-time
Mon – Sun shift work 5 days within 40 hours. Mon-Thur 8:30am-8:00pm, Friday 8:30-5:00pm, Sat 10:00-4:00, Sun 10:00-2:00pm. (Only 1.5 weekends are required per month)

Salary: £15,750.00 /year

IT Support Technician

A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic IT professional to join a small IT team and take responsibility for making sure our office and venue teams keep working effectively, by managing the networks and hardware in use and by providing fast and friendly help and support to all the team.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop their own skills and knowledge, and will be working with the Head of IT to continue to develop and enhance the systems as the business grows.

Essential skills:

  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Storage and Desktop related hardware
  • TCP/IP technology experience
  • Windows Server 2008/2012, Windows 7,8, 10, Mac
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A problem-solver and can prioritise to meet the business needs
  • Can work autonomously and take responsibility for tasks

 

Knowledge of some of the following would be preferred:

  • Microsoft Office 365 including Sharepoint & Skype for Business
  • Server & Networking infrastructure
  • Watchguard Firewall management
  • Veeam and Back-up Assist
  • Hosted VOIP phone system & related
  • Website administration
  • Back-up Systems

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Providing support on hardware and software applications to the office and venue teams to agreed SLA’s
  • Manage the internal network ensuring services are maintained and available, including AD, print, storage, back-ups, patch management
  • Work with Third Party partners, eg, hosting, telephony, broadband, hardware etc
  • Support the continued development of software and reporting solutions
  • Some remote week-end and out of hours cover for the sales teams on a rota

 

Salary would be flexible depending on current skills and experience and there would be opportunity for future growth as the successful applicant’s role grows within the business.

There will be occasional venue visits required so a full driving licence would be preferred.

Content and Social Media Executive

The overriding purpose of your role is to increase audience engagement and brand awareness for CHWV and its venues using a range of content types across a variety of social media channels.

Success in your role relies upon you being able to determine the most effective strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives to drive new and returning traffic to our websites.

The Main Responsibilities of the Content and Social Media Executive:

  • Manage the integrated planning and delivery of content and social campaigns
  • Ensure that you achieve social media objectives, implementing effective strategies to help venues and CHWV to increase their reach and followers
  • Have a creative ethos in order to produce unique and effective content
  • Use responsible judgement on what content can be used to extend brand reach
  • Monitor the social media channels on a daily basis in order to respond to comments and react to news within the industry
  • Manage and lead the content calendar
  • Create on-site content to help paid campaign conversion
  • Liaise with the creative team to develop content according to commercial objectives
  • Good photo and video proficiency will also be required to manage content, up-load photos, videos, and copy on a daily basis
  • Development of standards, systems and best practices for content distribution and calls to action
  • Stay on top of online marketing trends, monitor trends in social media and keep up to date with new channels and strategies
  • Develop strong working relationships with our venue owners and events teams
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice
  • Work effectively as part of the content team within the marketing department
  • Help CHWV to engage with key influencers within the wedding industry
  • Measure, report and analyse statistics from social channels to determine success or failure

 

Requirements:

  • Strong content generation skills
  • Demonstrable experience of running paid social campaigns
  • An awareness and the skills to plan strategic long-term brand content and social media campaigns
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Proof Reading and editing skills
