Most of the rooms boast unique handcrafted fireplaces and huge windows with views over the gorgeous grounds and ancient woodland. From the Terrace and the Garden Room to the Ballroom and the Snug, there are plenty of outside and inside spaces to make the most of at Tyn Dwr Hall, each furnished with an effortless fusion of traditional and contemporary.
The Ballroom is an elegant and open space for your ceremony, decorated in a fresh palette of whites and creams and lit with the natural light that streams through huge windows in the day and chic chandeliers when the sun goes down. There’s room for up to 120 guests here and you’re encouraged to put your stamp on the space. Perhaps a candle-lined aisle leading to the huge sandstone fireplace? Or time for someone special from your wedding party to use the original bell tower bell to ring in your marriage? Tyn Dwr Hall is yours to use as you wish.
Your post-ceremony celebrations and reception will flow seamlessly with the Garden Room and Terrace connected to the Ballroom. There are two bars at Tyn Dwr Hall and ample space for your guests to drink, dance and relax. Our in-house catering company will take care of all of the food and work with you to create a bespoke menu of dishes designed to suit you, your day and this glorious country venue.
The panoramic views you’ll enjoy from Tyn Dwr Hall are mesmerising. Think hilltop castle ruins dating back to 1106, green mountains and lush farmland, all framing the hall’s gardens, stream, waterfall and an arched bridge. There are acres of grounds to explore and you’re invited to do just that, from Woodman’s Walk to the waterfall to Yew Tree Cottage, the sweet 11th century dwelling standing behind one of the oldest and largest yew trees in Wales. Wind down the evening in Tyn Dwr Hall’s Snug or watch the sun go down over the fire-pit outside.
