All about The Italian Villa

Located in a quiet corner of Poole, situated within the renowned Compton Acres and close to the golden beaches at Sandbanks, The Italian Villa is a luxurious rural retreat, full of grandeur, glamour and sophistication.

Blending classical design with modern touches, this elegant and exquisite wedding venue sits within 10 acres of manicured lawns and glorious gardens, making it a most magical place to say ‘I do’.

The villa itself is stunning. It boasts an off white render exterior, pillars and statues reflecting its Roman architecture, a sweeping staircase flanked by an intricate bannister that leads to the grand arched entrance and a balcony overlooking the grounds. Oversized glass doors and windows add a contemporary touch, maximising the views.

Internally, the villa is arranged over three floors, offering couples a choice of suites for the ceremony and wedding breakfast. For civil ceremonies, the Verona Suite suits weddings up to 120 guests, while the Medici Suite is great for larger gatherings. Both rooms boast crisp white walls and either windows that overlook, or French doors that open up into the grounds.

For the drinks reception, the gardens are the perfect place to sip champagne and enjoy delicious canapés, or depending on the weather, the Siena Suite is a spacious room. The Medici Suite is ideal for the wedding breakfast, while the Siena Suite is perfect for evening entertainment as the room features its own bar and the latest audio equipment, with space for a grand piano and an array of musicians, bands and DJ.

For those wanting a traditional church wedding, the Church of the Holy Angels is just a short drive away.

When it comes to catering The Italian Villa stands out with a team of talented Michelin-trained chefs on hand to deliver the most delicious dishes for your special day.

The Italian garden is superb; mature trees and plants, box hedging, ornate planting pots filled with striking floral displays, romantic walkways, streams with stepping stones and a Japanese-inspired bridge and the pretty pond with water fountain ensure there are many picturesque spots for photographs, making your wedding day so memorable.

Multi-award winning, most recently voted the Most Popular Wedding Venue in the World, The Italian Villa is a dream wedding venue for all brides and grooms.
