All about Crockwell Farm

Crockwell Farm is considered to be one of the finest bespoke wedding venues in the Midlands and it’s easy to see why, with its 18th-century vaulted hall, stunning gardens and comfortable accommodation.

This charming barn setting is owned and run by the Harper family, who converted the traditional stone farm buildings into a wedding venue in 2002.  They and their team oversee all aspects of the wedding, from the first viewing to the big day so that they will get to know you and take on board exactly what you desire to make your day perfect.

The idyllic countryside venue is exclusively yours for two days and nights, so you have access to the venue from the day before the wedding right through to the morning after. You are able to relax and enjoy everything that the venue has to offer with your family and friends at such a special time.

Crockwell has three possibilities for your civil ceremony. The vaulted hall, with its beautiful stone walls and exposed timber beams, can host up to 86 guests.  Couples can now choose to tie the knot al fresco too, with the newly-built Orchard Pavilion providing a wonderful focal point in the heart of the picturesque orchard. The pretty trees create the perfect natural aisle, while there is shaded seating for as many guests as you like. It’s ideal for a relaxed ceremony full of tranquillity and means that couples can exchange their vows in stunning surroundings making for some memorable photos. The main marquee is also licensed to hold civil ceremonies for up to a maximum of 180 guests.

Those looking for a traditional service can also use the local church in the pretty village of Eydon, less than a mile away, before returning to Crockwell to celebrate.

Once you have tied the knot, the gardens are the perfect place for your drinks reception.  With plenty of beautiful locations for photographs, you and your guests will be able to relax and take in the scenery. There is also plenty of indoor space for the reception drinks for winter weddings, or if the weather does not co-operate.

Crockwell benefits from large and versatile indoor reception areas comprising of the wide entrance with French windows and an impressive iron chandelier, the vaulted hall and two internal lined marquees with pretty lighting. The bar marquee and star-lined dancefloor can both be partitioned from the main marquee during the wedding breakfast which creates an intimate atmosphere and allows your evening entertainment to be set up without disturbing guests. The main marquee enjoys fantastic views across the valley from where you can watch the sun set.

One of the biggest attractions of Crockwell is the accommodation for you and your close friends and family.  The venue can host up to 18 guests with seven delightful double rooms on-site and a superbly refurnished two-bed cottage in the village of Eydon. Enjoy a two-night stay together as a married couple in the Honeymoon Suite, relaxing in this romantic setting or even taking a dip in the stunning copper roll-top bath.

In fact, all of the accommodation is available to be booked by the wedding party for two nights if required. Guests will benefit from an amazing night’s sleep and a first-rate English breakfast the following morning, while catching up on the evening’s gossip!

With so much to offer, Crockwell could quite possibly be the ideal wedding venue in Northamptonshire for you.
