On arrival at Bartholomew Barn you are immediately inspired by the building; a fabulous brick and stone barn that resembles a traditional barn from a bygone era, yet benefits from floor to ceiling windows and doors, adding a contemporary touch. Standing proudly in rolling green fields and woodland, the barn is a stunning place to celebrate a wedding. Internally, the barn is chic and comfortable. It has exposed brick walls, oak beams and striking chandeliers, creating a romantic setting for both the ceremony and wedding breakfast. The full height windows flood the room with natural light while the doors open up into the courtyard, making the most of the open space at the venue. The huge wood burner located at one end of the barn ensures it is ultra-cosy during the winter months.

The Potting Shed is perhaps the prettiest potting shed in West Sussex. Stylishly converted, it is used as a dressing room for the bride and her bridesmaid to get ready in and sip champagne before the ceremony. It is also a special place for newly married couples to escape to, allowing them to spend some precious moments alone on their wedding day. A spacious room with en suite bathroom, the Potting Shed is quirky and unique.

Situated within the grounds of Bartholomew Barn is the summer house; a peaceful place for the couple to meet with the registrar ahead of the ceremony, and a charming, comfortable and quiet space for guests to go during the evening’s entertainment.
