If spooky celebrations have got you in the mood to try something a little different for your wedding, why not add a little bit of Halloween inspiration to your big day?
Halloween wedding venue
Rustic barn weddings venues are a great choice for Halloween weddings. With their cozy interiors, wooden beams and nooks for twinkling tealights, barns are easy to dress for autumn and Halloween celebrations.
Pumpkins are an easy way to add some Halloween magic to your wedding. Used as table centrepieces, pumpkins are an inexpensive DIY decoration that you can make yourself. Make your pumpkin carving as simple or elaborate as you like - depending on how artistic you are!
Instead of flowers on the tables, fill tall goblets to create a festive array of seasonal autumnal offerings like pinecones, hazel nuts and colourful segments of dried oranges and rosehips. These are easy to make and you can collect a lot of the bits you'll need on a walk in the countryside.
Spooky wedding cake
You don't have to have a full on black and orange vampire's castle-shaped wedding cake for a Halloween wedding (unless you want to of course!). You could make cute mini pumpkins and seasonal autumn leaf shapes in rich orange and russet colours and add them to a plain white wedding cake, giving it a Halloween twist.
