This fantastic shoot was organised by Georgina, the owner of Pennard House. We asked Georgina why Pennard House is perfect for a vintage wedding theme:
“The idea of a vintage-style wedding for me is one where the wedding couple gain inspiration for their day by looking to the elegance of the past. Pennard House offers this in abundance and having been in our family for over three hundred and fifty years, the ethos of tradition and history runs deeply.
The architecture of the main house combines Edwardian and Georgian eras while the Coach House was built in the early 18th century and retains its own unique character. During our recent renovation of the Coach House, we were particularly careful to retain all the original features while updating the space with state of the art modern facilities, so the venue has a true vintage feel before our couples even start to decorate.
Pennard House also has sweeping lawns, a secluded rose garden and a spring fed Victorian swimming pool all set within a traditional country village. All these unique features combine to make Pennard House the perfect setting for a vintage-style wedding.”
