Are you having a nightmare trying to find the perfect wedding venue? Keep calm and contact CHWV! We challenged our wedding venue advisers to help couples who are struggling to find the right place for their dream wedding. Here are this month’s wedding venue challenges...
A whopping guest list is no problem if you opt for a marquee wedding venue. There are many unique settings to choose from and you can get married in a stunning location such as the grounds of a country house, next to a lake or beside beautiful historic ruins. The style of marquees varies a lot and you can go for traditional white or something more contemporary like funky tipis. Many come with lots of extras too, such as chill out areas and dancefloors.
Getting married outside is the perfect summer wedding scenario. Civil ceremonies in England and Wales must take place beneath a structure with a roof such as a gazebo or summerhouse – which is virtually the same as ‘getting married outdoors’ anyway because they are open-sided. Scottish wedding venues, on the other hand, are governed by different laws and can offer true ‘outdoor weddings’. Take a look at our outdoor wedding venues.
You might think country houses or manor house wedding venues are out of the question if you’re having a small wedding. In fact, there are lots of fabulous venues that are the perfect place for a small, private wedding. There are even several barns that are ideal for smaller weddings too. See our small wedding venues.
