Let’s face it; sourcing wedding accommodation for your nearest and dearest can sometimes be a bit of a chore. Firstly you have to research accommodation nearby your wedding venue to suit a variety of budgets, and then you need to encourage guests to book accommodation quickly to avoid disappointment – especially during the popular summer months. That’s just one of the reasons why we love the glorious venue accommodation at Wasing Park - it takes one of those must-do wedding tasks off your hands, freeing up your time to focus on more important aspects of your wedding planning. Wasing Park’s accommodation is also pretty hard to beat when it comes to luxury too. Their newest rooms are not only styled and designed to perfection, they also benefit from the beautiful parkland location ensuring enviable views and a sensational setting for every guest who chooses to stay the night.
A parkland retreat for your wedding guests
With 23 rooms available and the possibility of booking the 6 bedroom Home Farmhouse and the 2 bedroom Bothy, both which sit in the heart of Wasing Estate, Wasing Park caters for many more overnight guests than your average wedding venue. There’s the breath taking Honeymoon Suite, featuring rustic barn-like details throughout, the beautifully designed 9-bedroomed Stables Lodge and 13 bedrooms amongst Wasing Park’s newest accommodation – The Mews, The Pump House and The Coach House – which quite frankly knocked our socks off when we had the pleasure of visiting them at the latest Open Day.
The Mews has recently been renovated and redecorated, to bring it in line with the venue’s fresh, new contemporary branding. The 2 bedrooms feature a classic, pretty colour palette complemented with elegant furnishings.
The Pump House
The Pump House, (the old Estate Office), sitting within Wasing Park’s gardens has been beautifully converted into en-suite accommodation.
The newly designed rooms feature a chic colour palette of grey hues and white, whilst the pictures you’ll find scattered throughout are all from historical art portfolios, recently discovered in the attic of Wasing Place.
The Coach House
One of the most exciting developments to the Wasing Park accommodation is the brand new Coach House. The impressive 5-bedroomed Coach House was built and designed by architect Martin Llewellyn, who is considered one of the best in the country! The rooms continue the equine theme that runs through the rest of the accommodation at Wasing Park and features two distinctive interior styles. Two of the rooms have lovely dark wood floors complementing the clean white walls and thick grey curtains, whilst the other three rooms feature the venue’s very own special shade of pink, aptly named Wasing Pink. In the pink rooms you’ll find lovely light lime washed floor boards that look like they have been there forever, linen is kept simple and white, and furniture comes in shades of blue and grey with natural wooden side tables and chests of drawers.
Across The Coach House, all the bathrooms have roll-top standalone baths and beautiful stone floors. There are even wonderful rain style showers - the ultimate wake up call for the morning after!
