Make the most of mother nature on your big day. Maybe you’d like a canapé drinks reception on sweeping green lawns. Or you’re looking for the perfect space for garden games or photographs. Whether you’re into fabulous formal or natural beauty, we have some amazing garden wedding venues to show you.

Tofte Manor in Bedfordshire

Tofte Manor is like your very own secret garden. Old-fashioned roses ramble over its rustic stone archways. And swathes of cottage garden flowers frame lush sweeping lawns. There’s a sunken garden where statues stand amid neat box hedging. But the highlight is the labyrinth, where you can have a whimsical blessing ceremony.

Oxnead Hall is a dream setting for a garden wedding. Views over the immaculate formal gardens continue all the way down to the wide banks of the River Bure. There’s an imposing folly and stone fountain, both perfect backdrops for stunning photographs.

The Barn at Bury Court in Surrey

Unusual and artistic, the gardens at The Barn at Bury Court are truly exceptional. The Courtyard Garden has simple and elegant planting schemes. Its cobbled pathways and sculptural hedges are perfect for photos. The Front Garden is like dream-like meadow. Swathes of whispering grasses meet rustic steel-edged flowerbeds. While gravel paths lead to a tranquil pool and a seating area.

South Farm in Hertfordshire

For natural outside spaces, try South Farm. Home to an organic smallholding and nature reserve, this wedding venue has idyllic gardens. The drawing room in the pretty yellow farmhouse can be yours for your romantic wedding ceremony. Or say “I do” in the garden Summerhouse, which stands over a lily pond.

Lanwades Hall in Suffolk

Wander in the gardens of Lanwades Park and step back in time. This Tudor-style country manor house overlooks a beautiful Sunken Garden, which has changed little over the last 100 years. There are walks and trails through the vast grounds around the house. Plans are in the pipeline for a pretty rose garden too.
