How many guests can the venue hold?
You can invite up to 150 to your ceremony. The South Barn seats up to 160 people for the wedding meal and more guests can come for the evening celebrations.
Does your venue have overnight accommodation?
We have a lovely cottage right next to the Barns where you can stay. It has an open plan lounge and kitchen downstairs. And upstairs, a large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a Juliet Balcony. Brides love getting ready here because they can peek out and see their guests arriving.

What makes Upwaltham Barns different?
Being the freedom to create a bespoke, individual day is what makes Upwaltham Barns special. We’re here to help you as much or as little as you like. And you have the Barns all to yourself, so your day will feel really personal.
We also think the layout of the Barns makes it unique. You can have your whole day “under one roof”, and yet there are different settings within the venue for the different parts of your day. You have the Barns for your ceremony and reception, of course. But there’s also the courtyard for drinks receptions or a barbecue in the evening. The cottage garden offers wonderful photo opportunities and an escape for quieter moments. And to top it all off, the honeymoon cottage is yours for the day and night. So you really do get so much in one place here.
