Read on to find out just a few of the reasons why it might just be the perfect venue for you…
1. It has a real sense of home and romance
Full of warmth and homely charm, Iscoyd Park is the perfect setting for your nuptials. The family home has a welcoming atmosphere and a magical way of making you and all your guests feel at ease.
2. There are plenty of options available for your ceremony and reception
There are two rooms inside the country home licensed for civil ceremonies. For those seeking traditional charm and a sense of ambience there’s the Drawing Room, which has tall shuttered windows, chandeliers, portraits and wooden floors. If gorgeous garden views are more your thing, the Garden Room will be the perfect spot to tie the knot with its large arched windows that look out onto the grounds.
When it comes to your wedding breakfast, you’ll be able to choose from three rooms, the largest being the Garden Room, which can seat up to 40 guests. For larger wedding parties of up to 150, there’s the beautiful marquee that sits next to the Garden Room.
3. There’s the option to plant a tree to mark your special day
The wedding team at Iscoyd Park have come up with a number of wonderful ways to mark your special day. One of our favourites is the opportunity for every couple to plant their own tree. Passionate about the restoration of Iscoyd and the Park, the wedding venue are happy to provide any couple who get wed at the venue with a tree to plant to mark their marriage. The tree will be personal to the two of you and will remain on the parkland for generations to come. We think it’s a really lovely idea and a great wedding keepsake.
4. The extravagant Bridal Suite is utterly beautiful
The Bridal Suite in set within Iscoyd House and a truly idyllic setting in which to spend your first night together. The suite has a four-poster bed with a canopy, tall windows with countryside views and an en suite bathroom with a deep bath. After your night together in luxury, you won’t want to leave!
5. There’s gorgeous accommodation for the family onsite
You’ll also find accommodation for up to 26 of your nearest and dearest at Iscoyd Park. You’ll find two cosy and stylish guest rooms within Iscoyd House itself and a further six bedrooms in the Stable Rooms and Laundry Cottage.
Just a few minutes drive away, there’s also room for eight guests in Wolvesacre Mill Cottage, situated on the edge of the estate.
6. You’ll have the option of staying at Iscoyd Park for up to three days
What sets Iscoyd Park apart from most wedding venues is its exclusivity and the opportunity for couples to enjoy a whole weekend of special celebrations. Two or three day hire charges include all the accommodation across the site as well as access to all the parkland and amenities within the house.
During your weekend you could throw a post-wedding dinner in the main kitchen, plan an afternoon of games out in the gardens or organise clay pigeon shooting on the park - to name just a few activities.
7. You can plan a pamper night the day before or morning after your big-day
The girls will be in for an extra special treat with the Secret Spa on site. Whether you want to book a facial the day before your big-day to get your skin in tiptop condition, or would like to enjoy a his and hers massage after the big event – the choice is yours.
