In today’s DIY driven world, you don’t have to spend hours or hundreds of pounds to re-create the perfect homely, rustic and cosy wedding vibe.

Photographs are such a heart-warming, unique touch to bring to a wedding and are often overlooked. There are all kinds of ways to incorporate your snaps into your day – how about featuring a photo wall with the wedding pictures of your parents and grandparents over the generations? This will give your wedding a gorgeous, timeless love feel. Or you can use little snaps of your guests as their name places around the table. Alternatively, to keep the attention on the newlyweds, why not use the table numbers to feature photos of the bride and groom at that age? For example, table two has a photo of the bride and groom when they were two years old!

Don’t Try and Do Too Much
Wedding planning can become a rather fraught, stressful and even competitive process. Arranging the event is overwhelming enough already, without deciding you’re going to become a wedding superhero and do it all by yourself. Delegation is essential, as is taking the little imperfections in your stride. Now is not the time to unleash your inner control freak!
Ariel Tree Care
Local family run tree felling businesses, Ariel Tree Care, gives it’s take on using locally sourced products to give that extra sparkle for your summer wedding.
You only have to browse through wedding and DIY blogs to find out what the top centrepiece trends are. Re-purposing old tree stumps into the subtly stunning focal points of your dinner tables is on the rise, as they can be incorporated into any theme, any colour scheme and can be adapted to suit your personality.
In today’s world where we are encouraged to buy local with everything from food to clothes, there’s no reason why you can’t do the same for your wedding decorations without resorting to chopping down a tree in your back garden in the dead of night.
Tree Slices of Heaven
Once you have your tree slices, there’s very little else you need to do. A quick coat of varnish or sealant can give your centrepiece a shiny finished look and there are always wood paints you can use if you fancy darkening the natural colour to fit your colour scheme.

For a simple and stylish finish, you can’t go wrong with mason jars filled with flowers and tea light candles. Elegant yet homely, and you can mix and match the flowers to suit your theme.
Let your imagination go wild with this one to ensure that you have really injected your personality into the centrepiece. Double up by stacking a smaller tree stump on top of your main one, or why not add some individual touches like natural moss or ribbon? This is your big day, so don’t hold back and really go all out!
