Shropshire is a beautiful mixture of rolling hills, expansive countryside and idyllic, historic towns, and all of these factors go towards making it a pretty special county to get married in. With a variety of stunning venues on offer, each with its own unique charm, we take a look at four of the different types of dream wedding venues in Shropshire.
From rustic and traditional to modern and chic, a barn venue can be a perfect way to celebrate your big day in a wonderful, rural setting. Delbury Hall in the south of Shropshire offers a traditional barn location with a contemporary twist. With its mezzanine floor and high ceilings, it's a grand place to hold your ceremony and wedding breakfast. It's surrounded by glorious gardens and the Hall's own lake which make a magical backdrop for your guests to enjoy the day. The Mill Barns near Bridgnorth is a soon-to-be barn venue that is being readied for spring 2017 and is being purpose built to provide a stunning wedding venue in a breath-taking setting. The three adjoining barns practically sit on the water in the midst of the idyllic rural location which provides a tranquil and unique backdrop for your wedding day. Quite simply, if you're looking for a barn wedding venue, Shropshire does them in style.
