Claire Pettibone has been designing wedding dresses since 2005 and her bohemian designs have been attracting attention ever since. Claire Pettibone’s designs are full of vintage romance but they’re also free-spirited, wild and elegant. What a combination! You’ll find soft colours, details inspired by nature and amazing embellishments in the collection and every wedding dress is just perfect.

However, if there’s one thing that Claire Pettibone is most well known for, it’s fabulous illusion backs. Since Claire Pettibone first featured illusion backs in her collections, many other wedding dress designers have copied her signature style but absolutely no one can match the Queen of the Gown.

A Claire Pettibone dress for your wedding
Claire’s latest couture collection, The Four Seasons, has been influenced by nature, in all its forms. You’ll find colours, textures and designs that are graceful and oh-so elegant. The ‘Amber’ gown with its copper threading would be perfect for a winter wedding whilst the breezy silhouette of ‘Theia’ would be ideal for a relaxed outdoor celebration. ‘Solstice’ is full of Art Nouveau styling cues so we can imagine this working wonderfully at a chic city gathering or vintage inspired wedding.

Alongside the couture wedding dress collections from Claire Pettibone are the designs that sit in Claire’s diffusion line, Romantique. These are perfect if you love Claire Pettibone’s style but feel a couture gown is a little beyond your budget. These collections are super eclectic and you’ll find crocheted laces and flowing skirts alongside 70s inspired designs and, of course, sexy backs. ‘La Cienaga’ is timeless and stylish with an on-trend bateau neckline but we also love ‘Bel Air’ and ‘Pallisades’, both of which would be wonderful for a bride who wants a relaxed yet glamorous look.
