Having a green wedding theme enables you to bring the outside in, using beautiful flowers and foliage and creating a neutral, natural vibe. At this time of year, green is also a wonderfully festive shade, combining beautifully with red and silver or gold for a Christmas wedding. Today we take a look at green wedding table plan ideas, and ways to bring your chosen shade in to that important element of stationery.
The Rustic Touch
For a rustic barn wedding, this plant pot table plan is a fantastic idea. Choose a pot of flowers or herbs for each table, and use plant tags for the name of each guest. This is easily adaptable to suit any colour scheme, and you could paint the pots green if you wanted to add more depth of colour.

This time we use an easel to display names and frame it with foliage. For a Christmas wedding, you could add a little sparkle by attaching tree decorations or fairy lights to the greenery.

Incorporate your shade of green using ribbon on a more traditionally designed table plan. This is effortlessly stylish, with the diamante hearts adding a little glamour.

The Barn Wedding
Perfect for a barn wedding venue, use a wooden backdrop to display your seating plan, incorporating just a hint of foliage. If you wanted to include another colour, the addition of a few fresh flowers would be stunning in this design.

Green generally features in any floral design, and we love this more modern table plan. It’s a great choice for a spring or summer wedding, particularly if your stationery designer can include the flowers you plan to carry in your bouquet.

Back to nature and perhaps the simplest, yet most effective design of all. We love this quirky planter, which works as both a floral decoration and seating plan. To avoid a situation where guests are crowded around a small seating plan, consider having two – one on either side of the room.
