Nothing quite provides wedding inspiration like an amazing styled shoot and we think you’re going to love this beautiful day from the spectacular Davenport House.
Nestled in the rolling Shropshire countryside, this magnificent manor house wedding venue would provide a magical setting for your special day and was the perfect place for this stunning shoot.
The shoot was the idea of Love My Dress and was themed around the royal wedding and celebrating the older bride. Expert wedding planner and stylist, Pocketful Of Dreams, played a huge part in bringing the concept to life and a wealth of fantastic suppliers covered everything from stylish stationery to exquisite flowers. David Jenkins Photography did an excellent job of capturing the day and we’re delighted to be able to share this wonderful shoot with you.
The idea was to bring a sense of springtime to the shoot, despite the wintry temperatures, as well as a feeling of grandeur that would suit a royal wedding. With a colour scheme of mustard gold and velveteen red softened by lighter tones and fresh greens, it’s safe to say that the theme definitely fitted the brief.
We think this styled shoot shows just how stunning Davenport House really is and gives plenty of inspiration for anyone thinking of saying ‘I do’ to this wonderful venue. We love the two beautiful models involved too and are all for the idea of reaching out to the older brides and grooms out there! With more and more couples leaving it later until they tie the knot, there definitely needs to be more tips and ideas like this around.
