When you know, you know. At least, that’s what Ellie and Rob tell us when it comes to choosing your wedding venue in Worcestershire.
“Curradine Barns was only the second venue we visited, but we knew straight away that it was right for us and didn’t look any further.
We loved the countryside location, good menu options and size of the space. It was intimate and cosy for our winter wedding, while still having room for all of our guests.”

Aisle Style
Ellie walked down the aisle at their church ceremony wearing the Alyse gown by Odylyne The Ceremony, which she purchased from LA Bespoke in Worcestershire.
“I loved the way my dress caught the light. It felt ethereal and romantic with embroidered lace over a silk slip,” smiles Ellie. “It was great to be able to get ready in the Dressing Room at Curradine Barns before our short journey to the church.”
Rose gold Kurt Geiger heels and a handmade headband from Luna Bea completed the bride’s look, while Rob looked dapper in a made to measure Moss Bros suit.

Wine, Dine and Dance!
“The mulled wine served at our drinks reception was perfect for our winter wedding. The canapes were also super delicious, including miniature steak and chips and black pudding spheres. We are big foodies and the menu was one of the reasons we chose Curradine Barns for our wedding venue in Worcestershire.
We spent most of the evening on the dance floor, but we did change our first dance 30 minutes before it took place! ‘Dreams’ by Gabrielle was our final choice, it just felt right. The dance wasn’t choreographed, but Rob said he’d lift me up at one point and he did!”

Finishing Touches
With Christmas just around the corner, this couple decorated with plenty of festive sparkle. “An enormous Christmas tree in the main room was essential,” they recall, “it felt very special.”
Homemade doughnut walls, eucalyptus table runners and foliage rings added character to the decorations, with rose gold accents for a glamorous twist.
“Our rose gold colour scheme was inspired by my engagement ring!” Ellie reveals.

Honeymoon Heaven
Having married in winter and wanting to honeymoon straight away, there was only one way to go for Ellie and Rob – south!
“We jetted off to Dubai and Mauritius. Mauritius is a beautiful island and we’d definitely recommend it as a honeymoon destination.”

Words of Wisdom
“Research your wedding photographer carefully. Ours was so brilliant on the day and produced photos we will treasure forever.
Oh, and if you want a relaxing day before your wedding, don’t do the flowers yourself!” Ellie laughs.
