Choosing Manor Mews in Norfolk for their wonderful winter wedding, Rebecca and James opted for a festive theme. With a Christmas tree, reindeers, snowflakes and even Santa himself, this was a special day to remember.
Venue Vibe
Setting a November wedding date, Rebecca and James were on the lookout for a dream venue for their Christmas-themed wedding.
“Christmas is my favourite time of year and we wanted to have reindeers and a Christmas tree at our wedding,” smiles Rebecca. “With its beautiful barn, fairly lights and space for a tree, Manor Mews was perfect.”

Setting the Scene
Choosing traditional festive colours of red and gold, a magnificent Christmas tree was the main decoration, along with an abundance of fairy lights and holly. Large glitter snowflakes hung from the ceiling, the tables were named after reindeers and there was a wooden Santa’s sleigh for cards and gifts. The magical Christmas scene was set to delight!

Bridal Style
Rebecca wore a Phoenix dress with sparkly skirt and white faux fur bolero, but it wasn’t exactly her dream dress at first.
“I hated it on the hanger and tried it on as a joke!” she smiles. “I literally just fell in love with it.”
To complement her outfit, the beautiful bride wore snowflake earrings and hair comb and pretty silver glitter shoes.
Her seven adult bridesmaids wore long red gowns with glitter heels, while the flower girls looked adorable in gold dresses from Monsoon.
As for the groom, James looked the part in a blue suit hired from Peter Posh.

The Day
Following their ceremony at All Saints Church in Morston, a drinks reception was held back at Manor Mews.
“Drinks on arrival were hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and Champagne!” says Rebecca.
A delicious wedding breakfast included a traditional roast lunch.
As the evening celebrations began, fish and chip cones were served, followed by wedding cake and a chocolate fountain. And, continuing the magical festive theme, Santa and his elf visited (complete with reindeers) bringing sweets for the children. The dancefloor filled as the DJ played a well-planned playlist – Christmas songs of course!

Favourite Moments
“It was all truly magical… but I have to say the reindeers and seeing all the children’s faces as Santa arrived was definitely one of my favourite parts of the day.”
