However it looks, the royal wedding is sure to be a beautiful one!
Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement, we’ve been thinking A LOT about their wedding. We can’t stop ourselves from dreaming about what the royal wedding could look like and we’ve had lots of great royal wedding ideas to share with you. If you’re planning a beautiful wedding with more than a hint of glamour and grandeur, then you’re going to love these ideas too.

Venues for a royal wedding
As we know, Meghan and Harry will be saying their vows in the historic surroundings of Windsor Castle. Windsor really does have it all as a wedding venue – impressive interiors, plenty of on-site accommodation, more history than you could ever learn and even its own Great Park! It’s also easy to get too and blessed with stacks of stunning spots for photographs.
If you’re looking for your own venue then Berkshire has more to offer than Windsor Castle. Wasing Park is one of the jewels in our crown and just like Windsor Castle, it’s a very special place with a host of great features. Picturesque and elegant, it’s also set in the stunning Berkshire countryside and you can enjoy the Victorian Summerhouse, boutique accommodation for guests in the Stables Lodge Hotel plus the Castle Barn. This impressive building couldn’t be more perfect for your wedding breakfast and evening party.

A little further afield, Davenport House and Morden Hall will bring a regal touch to your wedding day. Davenport House is a grand and stylish venue that’s wonderfully secluded if you want to stay away from the crowds. Morden Hall is peaceful and private with dreamy interiors that will welcome you and your guests in a truly elegant way.

Beautiful royal wedding ideas
So, now the venue is taken care of, let’s look at the rest of the wedding and imagine what the royal couple might be planning…
Obviously, we can’t wait to see what Meghan might wear. Her sophisticated yet on trend engagement outfit suggests she’ll opt for something similar for her wedding. Perhaps a gorgeous gown with a high neck, full skirt and pockets or a slim line design to show off her curves. We wouldn’t be surprised to see less lace and more Mikado from Meghan.

Meghan’s lucky Bridesmaids are sure to look beautiful too. Now we’d love the see them embrace the mismatched trend but perhaps the girls will wear multi-way dresses in matching colours so thy can still show a little individuality.

Given how loved up the couple were in their engagement interview, we can imagine that this is going to be a rather romantic wedding and, in late spring, what could be prettier than a dream pink and green wedding theme with hints of opulent gold? Here are some ideas what would be perfect for a royal wedding:
