“To get that perfect look for a boho wedding or relaxed celebration, it’s all about your skin looking its best. This means sticking to a skincare routine in the buildup to the wedding so that on the day you can show it off rather than covering it in base products.” – Cathryn
“With the focus being on good skin, I first prepped with Glow Tonic by Pixi, followed by Embryolisse Lait Crème to give the skin a real luminosity and instant glow.” – Cathryn
“I wanted to achieve a beautiful, sun-kissed look so I used a simple wash of bronze and orange shades on the eye and finished with mascara. I wouldn’t add strip lashes for this look as it takes away slightly from that relaxed feel. Then I added bronzer to all the places of the face that a person would naturally catch the sun and finished with a nice peach-toned blush.” – Cathryn
“Messy-chic braids and natural waves are perfect for a boho wedding hairstyle. To give a real rural feel to this look, I also added fresh garden flowers to the braid which finished the look perfectly.” – Carol
The finished look was amazing! The hair and makeup were complemented by a wonderful dress from Matthew O’Brien and we found a beautiful location to take some shots to which perfectly suited the boho theme.
