“The classic, elegant wedding style is the most popular look in my experience, and it’s easy to see why. This is a look that is timeless. In years to come, brides who have opted for the classic look will know that they won’t be looking back with any embarrassment. The classic style stands the test of time and will always be a positive when going through wedding photos in the future.” – Cathryn
“The idea of the classic wedding look is to enhance natural beauty rather than making a big statement. It is possible to add a pop of colour but it’s usually all about brown shades and neutral tones. I’ve used brown shadow with a Champagne toned shimmer for the centre of the eye and combined with liner and strip lashes.” - Cathryn
“I used a medium coverage base for this look, with a couple of layers of EX1 Invisiwear Liquid Foundation, which is totally buildable. I contoured the model’s skin to enhance her cheekbones and highlighted with Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. Finally I added a beautiful rose pink lipstick to finish the look.” - Cathryn
For the hair, Carol went for a classic low chignon, adding a little volume on top and a few strands of hair at the front to frame the face. She also added a diamante hair pin for a bit of sparkle. A low chignon is a great choice for a classic bridal hairstyle and is also a good choice if you’re planning to wear a veil as they can be positioned above or below.
