“The best way to achieve a romantic bridal look is to aim for something that is slightly playful and incorporates some colour. It’s the perfect choice for any bride that wants a real princess look on their wedding day. Pretty colour tones around the eyes and a lighter shade on the lips are key to bringing this style to life.” – Cathryn
“I prepped the model’s skin with Glow Tonic by Pixi, followed by Embryolisse Lait Crème and EX1 Inviswear Liquid Foundation for added glow and a fresh, youthful appearance. On top of this, I used a dusky pink shade to add a complimentary flush to her cheeks.” – Cathryn
“When it came to the eyes, I wanted to create more of a modern feel and the Pillow Talk palette from Charlotte Tilbury was ideal for this. I combined it with a rose gold shimmer to the centre of the eye and some strip lashes to open the eyes up more. A nude pink lipstick and clear gloss in the centres of the lip finished the look perfectly.” – Cathryn
To create a romantic bridal hairstyle, Carol added soft curls to the model’s hair and went for a half-up, half-down style for a simple yet elegant feel. She added a little volume powder for added texture and finished the look with a shine spray to add a touch of sparkle that continued the look from the eye makeup.
To complete the look, a beautiful dress from Matthew O’Brien brought it all together. For the romantic style, we went with an embroidered lace dress with a chapel-length train and a sweetheart neckline. The end result was exactly what we were looking for!
